Max Verstappen is eager for Red Bull to "fine-tune" a few things in its pursuit of Ferrari in the Monaco Grand Prix.
The Dutchman was best of the rest behind Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton on Friday as the home favourite and seven-time champion topped a session apiece, respectively.
Verstappen was within a tenth of Hamilton in FP2 after the qualifying simulation runs, with both Mercedes and McLaren well out of contention - with McLaren's Lando Norris missing most of FP2 after an early car failure.
Reflecting on his day, Verstappen was upbeat as he urged his team to "extract" more from its package to try and reel in the Ferraris.
"It was quite a positive day, to be honest," Verstappen explained.
"We felt quite good in the car, and it is particularly important, especially around Monaco, to have a positive feeling in the car.
"We just need to work to fine-tune a few things.
"Ferrari is looking really strong, so we will try to be as close as we can to them tomorrow.
"We are happy where we are at the moment, but we are always trying to extract more from the car, so let’s see what we can do tomorrow for qualifying."
