Not for the first time in his Formula 1 career, Max Verstappen opened the door to a raft of speculation over his future in the sport.
During the first of the two pre-season tests in Bahrain, Verstappen was scathing of the new wide-sweeping regulations, believing they would turn F1 into "FE on steroids" and lead to "anti-racing".
It was the latest accusing finger from the four-time champion being pointed at a sport he has served for over a decade, during which he has become one of the greatest of all time.
Verstappen has previously criticised the growing expansion of the F1 calendar, which currently stands at 24 races per year, and the introduction of the sprint events, which could increase to 12 next season from the current six.
When asked whether the new rules would make him consider his future in the sport, Verstappen issued a "let's see" response, making clear he was in F1 to have fun, and that other series could potentially provide him with that factor.
F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali later indicated that he is convinced Verstappen will not walk away at the end of the year, and will continue into 2027 and beyond.
On that basis, in a RacingNews365 poll, we asked you for your thoughts on whether Verstappen would quit F1 at the end of the year.
Whilst 41.94% of those of you who voted felt he would leave following the culmination of the upcoming campaign, the majority - 58.06% - feel, like Domenicali, that he will carry on, regardless of his thoughts and feelings right now.
Many thanks to those of you who took part. Please look out for other polls in the future.
