Max Verstappen has stated F1 cars can only just pull off manoeuvres on Formula 2 cars around Monaco, as he pointed to a lack of overtaking opportunities.
A significant pace gap exists between the two categories, with pole position at Monaco being roughly 11 seconds faster for F1.

McLaren junior causes huge multi-car pile-up in Monaco F2 feature
F2 championship leader and McLaren junior driver Alex Dunne caused a huge multi-car pile-up at the start of the feature race.
From pole position, Dunne got a poor launch and was beaten by Victor Martins from P2, with Martins having the racing line approaching Sainte Devote.

Lando Norris converted pole position into victory in the Monaco Grand Prix, as home hero Charles Leclerc had to settle for second.
Leclerc crossed the line just a few tenths adrift of Norris, whilst championship leader Oscar Piastri completed the top three. Less than 1.5s split the lead trio.

Jak Crawford emerged victorious from a twice red-flagged Monaco F2 feature race, featuring a huge Turn 1 pile-up.
At lights out, pole-sitter Alex Dunne was beaten off the line by P2's Victor Martins, with Dunne sweeping Martins into the Sainte Devote barrier, causing a huge pile-up involving nearly half the field.
George Russell receives severe penalty after Alex Albon incident
George Russell has been handed a drive-through penalty by FIA stewards for overtaking Alex Albon off-track, on purpose.
Russell, from 14th on the grid spent the entire race tucked up behind Carlos Sainz's Williams, who was driving slowly to allow team-mate Alex Albon to complete his two stops mandated by the rules.

Lewis Hamilton left baffled by Ferrari radio call
Lewis Hamilton has voiced confusion over a radio call delivered to him during the Monaco Grand Prix.
Hamilton was running in seventh place in the early stages of the race after being handed a three-place grid penalty after impeding Max Verstappen during qualifying.
