Max Verstappen has won the United States Grand Prix, producing a dominant drive to seal his fifth victory of the season.
The triumph places further pressure on the shoulders at McLaren as the Dutchman looks to become a late contender in the title battle.
Lando Norris completed a late-race overtake on Charles Leclerc to take second place, while Ferrari added to its trophy cabinet with a run to third.
Championship leader Oscar Piastri could only muster fifth place and now holds just a 14-point lead over Norris with five rounds remaining.
Verstappen, meanwhile, has closed the gap to 40 points.

Verstappen was unchallenged off the line as he retained the lead into Turn 1, while Leclerc, on soft tyres compared to the mediums around him, moved ahead of Norris for second place.
The pack was relatively unchanged throughout the opening tours of the circuit, with the biggest point of action coming from Norris, who challenged Leclerc for the runner-up spot.
Lap seven saw the deployment of a virtual safety car following contact between Carlos Sainz and Kimi Antonelli, leaving the former to retire from the race.
After the race resumed, Norris followed Leclerc for some time before finally getting back past Leclerc for second place on lap 21.
On the next lap around, Leclerc pitted following a short battle with team-mate Lewis Hamilton, switching to a set of mediums.
Eight laps later, Piastri pitted to avoid getting undercut by George Russell and was followed into the pit lane one lap later by Hamilton.
Norris swapped to the soft compound one lap later and rejoined behind Leclerc once again, before race-leader Verstappen pitted on lap 33.

Norris launched another attack on Leclerc in the final laps, producing a dive-bomb move at Turn 1 on lap 51. Leclerc moved back ahead on the exit of the corner but later in the lap, Norris consolidated the runner-up position.
But out front, Verstappen was untouchable as he cruised to his third win in four races.
Norris was second as he closed the championship lead held by Piastri, while Leclerc secured Ferrari's first podium since Belgium.
Piastri was fifth on the road as he signed off an underwhelming weekend, crossing the line behind the second Ferrari of Lewis Hamilton.
Russell was sixth at the chequered flag ahead of under pressure Yuki Tsunoda, who added to his points tally at Red Bull.
Nico Hulkenberg was eighth as he scored his first points since his podium at Silverstone.
Oliver Bearman took eighth place despite having a spin while tussling with Tsunoda. Fernando Alonso took the final point on offer in 10th place.
Next up on the F1 calendar is a trip to Mexico City, which takes place next weekend.
