It is finally time for the first race of 2026 and the new power unit regulations – the Australian Grand Prix!
George Russell unleashed frightening pace in qualifying to instil fear into all of Mercedes' opposition, securing a Silver Arrows one-two on the grid.
Red Bull's Isack Hadjar starts third, ahead of Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, and Lewis Hamilton in seventh, but keep a close eye on Ferrari's lightning starts.
Much attention will also be on the back of the grid, where Max Verstappen starts after crashing in qualifying. Chaos is to be expected as F1's new era truly gets underway.
