F1 could be set for a historic afternoon in qualifying for the 2025 F1 Italian Grand Prix.
In FP3, Lando Norris posted the fastest time, a 1:19.331, just half a second away from Lewis Hamilton's 2020 pole lap of 1:18.887, which stands as F1's outright fastest ever lap in terms of average speed, clocking in at 264.363 km/h (164.268 mph).
Hamilton himself will not be on pole as he carries a five-place grid penalty for his yellow flag infringement at Zandvoort, meaning he can win qualifying, but will start sixth at best.
Team-mate Charles Leclerc can earn pole - but will he deliver for the Tifosi? And what of Max Verstappen and championship leader Oscar Piastri?
