Lando Norris has the early advantage on the final Friday of the F1 season after topping Free Practice 1 in Abu Dhabi.
Just 0.008s were between Norris and title rival Max Verstappen as Oscar Piastri sat out the session to fulfil his requirement to miss two FP1 sessions in the year.
But crucially, given that FP1 takes place in the day-time conditions and the crucial qualifying and races take place during twilight to night conditions, Piastri should not be too disadvantaged.
