After rain largely washed out FP1, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc topped the timesheets in an inconclusive FP2 session ahead of Lando Norris.
World Championship leader Max Verstappen was only 11th, and was one of several to voice his ire at Pirelli's 'Alternative Tyre Allocation' trial that has limited the sets of tyres available to drivers over the weekend.
Drivers will also be restricted in the compounds of tyres they can use for Qualifying later today, with Hard tyres mandated for Q1, Medium for Q2, and Soft for Q3, making FP3 the last chance for teams and drivers to experiment with their setups before the competitive action starts.
