F1 returns to Budapest for the Hungarian Grand Prix with everyone wondering whether Max Verstappen and Red Bull can be stopped.

The two-time World Champion opened up a 99-point advantage over teammate Sergio Perez with a sixth consecutive win at the British Grand Prix.

No non-Red Bull driver has secured victory this term, though the circuit characteristics at the Hungaroring will pique interest for the chasing pack.

There's a new qualifying format to be trialled that could lead to changes in the pecking order, but first the drivers and teams must navigate the first two practice sessions of the weekend.

Can Verstappen be beaten? We'll get some clues in Free Practice 1 - which you can follow live.

Below you will find our dedicated live blog and live timing hub; the times refresh automatically during the session, so you are always up to date.
