Liam Lawson is facing a Miami GP stewards' investigation for tipping Pierre Gasly's Alpine upside down.
At Turn 17 on Lap 6, Lawson locked up whilst Gasly tried to pass on the outside of the Racing Bulls, tipping the Frenchman into a 360-degree roll.
Gasly came to rest on top of the barriers, but was otherwise uninjured with Lawson also retiring due to the damage.
The New Zealander must report to the stewards post-race to answer for the incident, with a grid penalty likely for Canada.
