Over 60 per cent of F1 fans believe Lewis Hamilton has made a mistake switching to the Ferrari team.

Hamilton closed the curtain on his successful chapter with Mercedes at the end of the 2024 campaign to begin a new challenge with Ferrari.

However, the seven-time champion has endured a number of difficulties so far with the Italian squad and is still awaiting his first podium in red.

Hamilton has largely been out-paced by team-mate Charles Leclerc in the opening nine rounds of the campaign.

33.64% of respondents suggested Hamilton should have stayed with Mercedes, while over 25% think he should have retired from F1 altogether.

Meanwhile, just under one-fifth of voters are sure that Hamilton made the right decision.
