F1 fans expect Liam Lawson to finish within 100 points of world champion Max Verstappen in the 2025 season, according to the results of a recent RacingNews365 poll.
After just 11 grand prix starts, Lawson was promoted from Racing Bulls to replace the axed Sergio Perez, but faces a huge challenge against the four-time world champion Verstappen.
Perez finished some 285 points behind Verstappen in 2024, and took a lowly eighth in the standings, but according to the results of the poll recently ran, F1 fans believe Lawson will comprehensively out-perform this result.
From the options available to vote for, the most popular result was that Lawson would finish between 51-100 points behind Verstappen, with 33.07% of votes cast.
This beat 0-50 which came in at 27.55% of total votes, with 101-150 the third most popular at 21.25%.
No options presented received a majority of the total number of votes, although when added together, 0-50 and 51-100 do make 60.62% of ballots.
