Lando Norris has been told he has made the right decision to extend his contract with McLaren, with a significant majority of F1 fans backing the choice.
The reigning world champion committed his long-term future to the team last week, signing a deal that keeps him at McLaren until at least the end of 2030.
The extension cements a partnership that has already delivered a drivers' Championship in 2025 and back-to-back constructors' titles in 2024 and 2025.
Norris, who has been with the Woking-based outfit since his debut in 2019, admitted there was interest from rival teams but described the decision to stay as one of the easiest he has made in Formula 1.
