Kimi Antonelli made F1 history in claiming victory at the Japanese Grand Prix.
In taking the chequered flag at Suzuka, and with Mercedes team-mate George Russell only fourth, Antonelli has now opened up a nine-point lead at the top of the drivers' standings over the British driver.
FIA release statement after huge Oliver Bearman Japanese GP crash
The FIA has issued "clarifications" in a statement released following Oliver Bearman's 50G crash at the Japanese Grand Prix.
On Lap 21, Bearman slammed into the barrier at Spoon curve after closing in on Alpine's Franco Colapinto at high closing speeds as Colapinto harvested energy whilst Bearman deployed his batteries.

Max Verstappen to consider F1 future in 'coming weeks, months'
Max Verstappen has dropped a hint that he will take time during the upcoming extended break to consider his future in Formula 1.
The four-time F1 champion staged a minor recovery to eighth place at the chequered flag of the Japanese Grand Prix after starting from 11th on the grid at Suzuka.

Aston Martin investigating after Lance Stroll suffers latest misery
Lance Stroll retired from his third consecutive grand prix this season.
In what has so far been a wretched campaign for Aston Martin, Stroll was informed over the radio during the Japanese GP to return to the garage due to a water pressure issue with the AMR26.

F1 journalists release statement after Max Verstappen ban
F1 journalists have called on the FIA to "open dialogue" with the teams and media following what it sees as a "deterioration" in the relationship between the two parties over the Japanese Grand Prix weekend.
The situation stems from four-time F1 champion Max Verstappen banning a permanently-accredited journalist from attending his pre-race press conference in the Red Bull hospitality unit at Suzuka on Thursday.

Max Verstappen hilariously waves at F1 rival after Japan overtake
Max Verstappen took time to hilariously wave at Alpine driver Pierre Gasly as the latter overtook the Red Bull driver during the Japanese Grand Prix.
Gasly and Verstappen spent much of the race battling for seventh place, with the Alpine driver coming out on top.
