Following his victory in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Oscar Piastri has taken the lead of the F1 drivers' title but is he McLaren's best hope of claiming the crown?

The Australian driver has a 10-point lead over team-mate Lando Norris after winning three of the opening five races.

Only Piastri has won more than one grand prix this season, with Norris standing on the top step in Australia and Max Verstappen in Japan.

Piastri has been near-faultless across the opening rounds, with the sole exception being his heartbreaking mistake on home soil of Melbourne's Albert Park which cost him a comfortable podium finish.

Whilst he has not been the quickest driver regularly, he has been the most consistent, as proven by Norris' mixed results due to costly mistakes in several events.

McLaren has not won the drivers' championship since Lewis Hamilton's maiden title in 2008, marking a 17-year wait for the Woking-based team.

Based on his strong start, Piastri has been backed by many to win the crown this season. Do you believe he is McLaren's best hope?
