In pictures: Eau Rouge/Raidillon gets a complete makeover

Ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix in August, the Spa-Francorchamps venue is undergoing renovation work, which will include new grandstands and safety updates. As part of this, the iconic Eau Rouge and Raidillon section is receiving a makeover.

When the F1 circus arrives in Belgium in August, the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps will look a little different, with the famous track currently undergoing renovation work. As part of this, the iconic Eau Rouge/Raidillon section is receiving a makeover. The house that overlooked the sequence of corners has been demolished, creating room for a larger run-off area to improve safety. There will also be a new grandstand built next to this part of the circuit, allowing more fans to be right in the heart of the action. Check out new images of the construction work below...
