The iconic indoor-outdoor circuit at East London's Excel Centre has received a one-year extension to continue hosting Formula E in 2026.
It is widely expected that the London E-Prix will once again host the season finale next season, having done so since 2023.
As well as having hosted the first season finale back in 2014, London has been the final city on the calendar for the entirety of the Gen3 era.
This season it will host the Gen3 Evo cars for the first-time, with it yet to be discovered whether the drivers', teams' and manufacturers' titles will again go down to the wire.
It is a fan favourite venue and often delivers a chaotic spectacle to end the campaign, although concerns have been raised over the lack of development possible at the track.
With Gen4 to be introduced at the end of 2026, FE is known to be exploring its options for Season 13.
At least until Gen4, London is locked-in on the calendar, with 50,000 fans having attended last year's title-deciding double-header.
"We’re pleased to extend our relationship with Excel London, which has been a perfect home for
Formula E over the last few years," said FE co-founder Alberto Longo.
"Its unique track conditions and event space offers fans and drivers the very best of our sport, bringing the best racing and entertainment together in a truly unique venue at the heart of the capital, while all delivered sustainably."
