Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has pinpointed Isack Hadjar as a prospect for an F1 seat at RB next year.

Hadjar is currently taking part in his second season of Formula 2 and leads the drivers' championship with six rounds remaining in the campaign.

The Frenchman has been part of the Red Bull junior programme for over three years, and drove the RB20 during free practice last time out at Silverstone.

Horner labelled the 19-year-old as a prospect for next year while also praising Arvid Lindblad, another Red Bull talent who is currently second in the Formula 3 standings.

“He [Hadjar] is doing a good job,” Horner told media including RacingNews365.

“He had a good weekend. It's good to see both Isack and Arvid Lindblad win the Formula 3 race [at Silverstone]. Two outstanding talents that are coming through.

“So, again, he’s making a strong case for himself next year, which is why we’re not in any rush to finalise seats in the sister team.”

When asked if he really has a chance at a 2025 drive, Horner replied: “There's always a chance.”

One RB seat is currently confirmed next year, with Yuki Tsunoda staying for a fifth season at the sister Red Bull squad.

However, the identity of his team-mate is yet to be confirmed with Daniel Ricciardo struggling for performance alongside Tsunoda.
