Red Bull chief designer steps down on eve of F1 season
Red Bull Racing's chief designer Craig Skinner has stepped down on the eve of the new F1 season.
His reasons for departing are not currently known, nor who his replacement is going to be.

F1 has confirmed a major broadcast change for the upcoming pre-season test in Bahrain.
The final test of the year takes place on February 18 - 20 as teams gather the final pieces of data ahead of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix next month.

McLaren call for action over 'dangerous' F1 power units
McLaren team principal Andrea Stella is keen to see F1 implement quick fixes to the new power units after identifying an issue he sees as “dangerous”.

Red Bull technical director Pierre Wache has claimed that Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren are all ahead of the Milton Keynes-based squad in the F1 pecking order heading into the new season.
Speaking at the first official pre-season test at the Bahrain International Circuit, the Frenchman again insisted his team is "not the benchmark" after rivals had placed Red Bull on a pedestal following a surprisingly impressive first day of three in Sakhir.

Fernando Alonso has pinpointed Aston Martin missing the majority of the private shakedown in Barcelona as a key factor in why the team was "on the back foot" during the first official pre-season test at the Bahrain International Circuit.
The Silverstone-based squad was the slowest of F1's 11 teams in Sakhir last week, and completed the fewest number of laps, having only managed 65 between the Spaniard and team-mate Lance Stroll at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in late January.
