George Russell was left "pissed off" after Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen went unpunished in the Mexico City Grand Prix.
Leclerc and Verstappen both cut across the grass between the first and third corner on the opening lap at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, before rejoining in the same position.
Ferrari's Leclerc slotted back into second, while Verstappen retained fourth, with Russell in fifth having watched it all unfold in front of him.
The Mercedes driver immediately complained over the radio, and did so again after being informed that the stewards had opted against punishing either driver.
Russell's frustration grew shortly after, as Verstappen went off the circuit for a second time. Verstappen struggled in the first handful of laps and cut across Turn 4, again, maintaining his position.
In identical fashion, no action was taken against the four-time world champion, with Russell insisting that both incidents should have been looked into further by the stewards.
Asked for his thoughts on the first corner, Russell told select media including RacingNews365: "Well, I think I just struggle to understand how three guys can just cut the corner and maintain their position.
"They got it wrong, they braked too late, they made a mistake. But then they can just cut the corner and continue, there was no punishment for their mistake.
"So I was pretty pissed off with that to start with. And then, Max came off and went off the track at Turn 4, came back on.
"Wrong place, wrong time for me. But again, that should have been analysed as well."
