Ferrari team principal does not believe Red Bull has become "the team to beat" in F1, highlighting that Mercedes and McLaren remain competitive despite the RB22's newfound form.
Max Verstappen has won the past two grands prix for Red Bull, in Sepang and Singapore, to help turn around an otherwise disappointing campaign for the six-time constructors' champions.
But despite becoming a resurgent force, and George Russell claiming Red Bull is now the team with the target on its back, Vasseur does not fully agree.
Instead, the Frenchman was quick to stress the ebbs and flows of performance across the season, which has seen all four top teams win multiple rounds, when asked for his take on the matter.
"I'm not sure, honestly; they are doing very well, but it's not the team to beat," Vasseur told media, including RacingNews365. "You [also] have to focus on McLaren and Mercedes.
"If you have a look from the beginning of the season, Mercedes was flying. Then we won two races. Then McLaren won two races. Then Red Bull won two or three [including the sprint in Singapore]."

Vasseur: 'The classification can change'
Vasseur pointed to how close the top teams were at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, and how a single upgrade can further alter the competitive balance.
"I think it's changing because quite often you have four teams — [in qualifying], you had four teams [separated by] less than two tenths," he added.
"That means that if someone is bringing an upgrade next week, the classification can change.
"But most important is to be focused on ourselves, not to think about the others."
