F1 fans have decided they would like to see Max Verstappen attempt the Le Mans 24 Hours as his next big challenge after his stunning success at the Nürburgring.

Driving a Ferrari 296 GT3 machine, Verstappen and team-mate Chris Lulham secured victory in the NLS race, by over 20 seconds, with Verstappen having led by over 70s before handing over to Lulham.

Verstappen is renowned for his love of extracurricular racing outside of the F1 season, and F1 fans have decided they would like to see the Dutchman take on the Le Mans 24 Hours.

In the poll by RacingNews365, fans were presented with a number of options from iconic races around the world, with the twice-around-the-clock French enduro coming out on top, although it did not earn a plurality of votes.

It is impossible for Verstappen to take part at Le Mans in 2026, owing to a clash between the race and the Catalunya-Barcelona Grand Prix on June 13-June 14th.
