Envision has launched its new Formula E car for the upcoming season, which starts on December 7 in São Paulo, Brazil.
The Silverstone-based team has retained not only Season 2 champion Sebastian Buemi and Robin Frijns, but also its well-known colour scheme.
For FE Season 11, Envision will once again use a green and blue livery, with adjustments having been made to the sleek design.
The customer Jaguar team is also continuing to run Climate Stripes on its rear wing, with the team's key partnership with Professor Ed Hawkins to continue, as will its support of raising awareness for various climate change topics.
With the introduction of the Gen3 Evo, it is a big season for the all-electric series. Buemi is already impressed by the all-wheel drive, contributing to the car being the fastest accelerating FIA single-seater.
“After my first taste driving the GEN3 Evo, I’m very impressed with the all-wheel drive, and think it will add another new exciting element to Formula E racing," said Buemi.
"The new bodywork looks great, and even better in our green livery, and I am looking forward to getting out on track in Valencia to kick start Season 11.”
As mentioned, Frijns also remains with Envision, in what will be his sixth campaign with the outfit.
Frijns came on strong in the closing stages of last season after what had been a difficult year; however, he is already feeling optimistic about the races ahead.
“The new GEN3 Evo should produce some of the most exciting and close racing we have ever had in Formula E," Frijns.
"From the testing we’ve done so far, I really enjoy driving the new car and hope we can have a strong year and challenge for trophies.”
