Drama for Verstappen and Palou while leading virtual 12 hours of Sebring

Max Verstappen made his sim racing endurance return with IndyCar champion Alex Palou, however his race was short-lived after drama at the start.

Max Verstappen's return to endurance sim racing was met with drama, after having a crash at the start of the Virtual Sebring 12 Hours.

The Dutchman started the race in the Team Redline car that he is sharing with 2021 IndyCar champion Alex Palou.

But after the contact with another car in the GTB class, he brought it back to the pits and discovered the car was too damaged to continue the race.

This comes after Verstappen called the Le Mans Virtual "a clown show" due to the technical problems earlier this year, which saw him get disconnected due to faulty servers.
