Red Bull is facing a huge dilemma over its second F1 seat in 2025 as Sergio Perez continues to struggle for form.
In the 13 aces since the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, he has scored just 47 points, with the team set to miss out on defending its constructors' title with McLaren and Ferrari pulling away at the top.
When faced with the chance to drop Perez in the summer break, Red Bull hesistated, keeping Perez on, but this has not had the desired effect as his crisis of confidence deepens, especially following a humiliating home weekend in Mexico.
That weekend was dominated by soon-to-be-ex-Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz - who roared to pole position before converting into a second win of the season.
Following his Australia win, Sainz was touted as a potential candidate to join Red Bull, or even Mercedes, as Lewis Hamilton had nicked his 2025 Scuderia seat.
But ultimately Mercedes chose Andrea Kimi Antonelli, whilst Red Bull is left trying to find a solution from Perez or Liam Lawson, with Yuki Tsunoda not the flavour of the Milton Keynes month.
In the latest RacingNews365 poll, we want to know if you think Red Bull made a mistake in not signing Sainz to partner Max Verstappen once again - with the two being rookie team-mates at Toro Rosso in 2015 and early 2016.
