Former Red Bull Christian Horner has taken to social media to offer his congratulations after the team took its first F1 victory with its own engine in the Bahrain GP.
Max Verstappen emerged victorious from the chaotic grand prix, to record Red Bull's first victory of the season - and crucially, the first since it switched to its own Red Bull-Ford Powertrain.
The decision was taken under Horner's tenure to take the step to become a power unit manufacturer for 2026, with the factory beginning to be built up under him, with the likes of Ben Hodgkinson signed to lead the project.
Since leaving Red Bull in July 2025, Horner has seldom commented on Red Bull, but took to Instagram stories, below, to offer his congratulations.
RBPT-Ford is just the 23rd different engine manufacturer to win a grand prix in F1.
