For the first time in 406 grands prix, Christian Horner will not be on the Red Bull pit wall this weekend.
Horner did not miss a single race since Red Bull started racing in Formula 1 in 2005, following which he oversaw the capture of eight drivers' championships - four apiece for Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen - and six constructors' titles.
But three days after the British Grand Prix earlier this month, Horner was removed from his operational duties as team principal and CEO, ending his 20-year reign. No reason has emerged for his dismissal.
So, on his first grand prix Sunday off, Horner has turned to social media to show exactly what he has been up to.
Via an Instagram post, the Briton has been pictured riding one of his horses near his Oxfordshire home, with the caption, 'Different horsepower this Sunday', along with a wink emoji.
No doubt he will still be tuning in to watch the race at Spa Francorchamps as he did the Saturday sprint, won by Verstappen, who revealed afterward that Horner had messaged him almost instantly after the victory.
