The FIA has agreed the final stages of the Concorde Agreement with Formula 1 and all 11 teams until the end of the 2030 season.
The Concorde Agreement is a contract between the FIA, Formula 1, and all grand prix teams which covers the commercial and governance of the championship, including the distribution of prize money and the decision-making processes for rule changes.
Earlier this year, in March, all parties signed a commercial Concorde Agreement, with further talks taking place over one for the governance of F1 until 2030.
The exact details of the Concorde Agreement are kept secret and not revealed to the public, with this deal being the ninth such and is set to cover the period from January 1st, 2026, to December 31st, 2030.
In a statement, it was confirmed that as part of the deal and the "momentous expansion" of F1 in recent years, terms for the FIA to "invest further in improved race regulation, race direction, stewarding, and technical expertise" had been agreed.
