Bottas welcomes former Mercedes chief to Instagram: 'James, it's Valtteri'

The Alfa Romeo driver made a cheeky throwback to the years at Mercedes as the Williams boss joined Instagram.

Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas has welcomed his former Mercedes colleague and now Williams Team Principal James Vowles to Instagram with a throwback message. In Vowles first post to the social media platform, Bottas commented with a funny throwback message: "James, It's Valtteri. Welcome to Instagram." The reference is referring back to their exchanges over team radio during their years at Mercedes, when Vowles would instruct Bottas with the immortal words: "Valtteri, it's James..."
