Aston Martin has indicated its big-name recruitment drive is far from over as it continues to strive for owner Lawrence Stroll's goal of becoming F1 champions.
Adrian Newey heads a stellar cast after Stroll splashed out to land the famed F1 designer to become managing technical partner and oversee a technical department teeming with talent.
Alongside Newey, when he starts on March 3, will be Ferrari's former technical director of chassis and aerodynamics Enrico Cardile, who takes up the role of chief technical officer.
Former Mercedes power unit guru Andy Cowell, who joined Aston Martin on October 1 as Group CEO, has become team principal following a recent reshuffle, whilst F1 stalwart Bob Bell joined the team 10 months ago as executive director (technical).
Cowell took over the team principal reins from Mike Krack, who has taken on the newly created role of chief trackside officer.
Krack maintains Stroll is far from finished.
Asked in an interview with RacingNews365 whether more big names were required, Krack said: "I would not focus too much on the big names. What is a big name? What isn't?
"At the end of the day, you always need to change. You need to make use of opportunities, even if someone is maybe less famous.
"But there are some stars that we don't know the names of in this paddock or the factories, and that is very important to identify them and try to get them for our project.
"These days, it's difficult, with all these contracts, notice periods, non-competition [clauses] and all these kinds of things, but it's important going forward.
"I'm not necessarily saying '25 or the beginning of '26 but looking at '27, '28, where is the talent?
"We all have an end time, and we have to set this team up to be solid over the next years, especially for the time after us.
"To answer your question, we have to be open to everything, be it famous people, or less-famous people, who may go unnoticed if they join us, but we must keep our eyes and ears open."
