Alpine has been handed a €5,000 fine by the FIA after an unusual breach of the F1 tyre rules during Las Vegas Grand Prix practice.
The team was summoned after being alleged to have failed to electronically return tyres after FP3 on Franco Colapinto's car.
In their investigation, the stewards found Alpine had physically returned the tyres to Pirelli, but failed to lodge the return electronically.
As such, a simple €5,000 fine was handed out.
Colapinto qualified in 15th place for the race, with team-mate Pierre Gasly in 10th.
