Alex Albon will be investigated by the stewards at the Qatar Grand Prix for allegedly failing to follow the race director's instructions.
The Williams driver is believed to have committed a pit lane infringement at the start of qualifying.
Specifically, he is being looked at for incorrectly pushing into the fast lane, with the officials to cast an eye over the incident following the grid-setting session.
Esteban Ocon immediately got onto team radio to point the finger at the 29-year-old when it happened.
Albon finished the sprint at the Lusail International Circuit in tenth, with team-mate Carlos Sainz securing the final points-paying position with eighth.
