Oscar Piastri will start the Bahrain Grand Prix from pole position as he leads the field at lights out for the second time in three races.
The McLaren driver will have Charles Leclerc for company on the front row of the grid, despite George Russell being the second-fastest qualifier.
Russell and Mercedes team-mate Kimi Antonelli were handed one-place grid penalties after Mercedes made an error in sending its drivers out into the pit lane before it was permitted to do so.
Nico Hulkenberg has also dropped to 16th after the stewards found his lap time during Q1 should have been deleted.
Max Verstappen is set to start from seventh for Red Bull, while team-mate Yuki Tsunoda lines up in 10th.
