The World Endurance Championship (WEC) has released its calendar for the 2026 season, confirming a huge clash with F1.
The highlight event of the year, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will take place on June 13 and 14.
However, this will occur on the same weekend as the F1 event from Barcelona, which no longer has the 'Spanish Grand Prix' title following Madrid's arrival on the schedule.
Barcelona's future on the F1 schedule beyond 2026 is unconfirmed, but next year it will have to compete for the audience who will also want to watch Le Mans.
Barring any significant time schedule changes, Saturday's qualifying for the grand prix will get underway at the same time as the famous 24-hour race.
Both events will also likely finish around the same time on Sunday.
