The fourth round of the 2026 F1 season took place at the Miami International Autodrome, host of the Miami Grand Prix.

It was a chaotic weekend that saw Kimi Antonelli break yet another record, becoming the first driver to claim their first three wins in consecutive races all from pole position.

But there was much more going on than Antonelli claiming another win, with drama throughout. So, who mastered Miami and who left frustrated?

See our driver rankings from the Miami Grand Prix below!

The top five

Kimi Antonelli – 9

Kimi Antonelli is putting together a serious title challenge after winning a third consecutive Grand Prix from pole. While the Sprint was difficult, he bounced back and was flawless in qualifying and the race to extend his lead to 20 points. By far, this was his most sublime performance yet, with no errors made.

Lando Norris – 9

Lando Norris became the first driver this season to dethrone Mercedes, with the reigning world champion claiming Sprint pole and then Sprint victory. In the Grand Prix, he was again in contention but just could not quite get close enough to Antonelli. He settled for second — but it was a strong weekend.

Franco Colapinto – 9

For Franco Colapinto, the Miami GP saw him finally take the fight to Pierre Gasly and come out on top, securing a career-best finish of seventh. He looked strong through every session and avoided any unnecessary mistakes, offering a solid platform to build on for Canada.

Max Verstappen – 8

After a difficult start to the season, Max Verstappen and Red Bull finally looked competitive again. The Dutchman did excellently to secure second on the grid, although a spin at the second corner ended any hope of victory. Nevertheless, the four-time world champion attacked like a lion and defended well.

Oscar Piastri – 8

Oscar Piastri scored good points in Miami, finishing second in the Sprint and third in the Grand Prix. However, he was consistently adrift of Norris in one-lap pace, leaving work to be done. Despite that, it was a solid overall performance, which now represents back-to-back podiums.

The bottom five

George Russell – 5

While Antonelli was at the front, George Russell was fighting for a top-five finish. Across all sessions, the Briton never quite looked on it and was comfortably slower than his team-mate. While he salvaged fourth, it was a weekend that has left him with ground to make up, with a bounce-back performance in Canada needed.

Lewis Hamilton – 5

It is a similar story for Lewis Hamilton, who could never match Charles Leclerc and also never really looked in contention for a top-five finish. Sustaining damage on the opening lap did hurt Hamilton massively, but even without that, he never looked in a position to compete with those ahead.

Arvid Lindblad – 4.5

On his first trip to Miami, things did not really go to plan for Arvid Lindblad. The rookie struggled for pace and finished 14th in the race, while prior to that he retired from the Sprint. Over one lap, Lindblad also looked out of sorts and failed to really take the fight to the teams around Racing Bulls.

Nico Hülkenberg – 4

Nico Hülkenberg saw very little of the race track across the weekend after failing to start the Sprint and retiring early in the Grand Prix. While he did qualify well in 10th, that was really as good as his weekend got.

Isack Hadjar – 3.5

Miami represented the worst weekend of Isack Hadjar's season by some distance after crashing out in the opening stages. A costly error at Turn 14 saw Hadjar crash at Turn 15, resulting in a furious physical outburst. Even over one-lap pace, Verstappen had a comfortable advantage.
