Alex Dunne secured F2 feature race pole position at the Belgian Grand Prix, beating Ritomo Miyata by four-tenths of a second.
Invicta driver Roman Stanek was the third-fastest in the 30-minute grid-setting session at Spa-Francorchamps.
Victor Martins and Arvid Lindblad rounded out the top five, whilst Pepe Marti, Leonardo Fornaroli and Gabriele Mini will start sixth to eighth, respectively.
Amaury Cordeel and Oliver Goethe were the ninth and tenth-quickest, and will form the front row for the reverse-grid sprint race on Saturday.
F2 championship leader Richard Verschoor could only qualify P11, where he will start both races.
