Lando Norris led the way in the second free practice session at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, topping the timing sheets on medium tyres under the lights in Jeddah.
In the most representative hour of running ahead of qualifying and the race, Oscar Piastri was second quickest, less than two-tenths adrift of his McLaren team-mate's 1:38.234 and ahead of Max Verstappen.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz rounded out the top five at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, whilst Stake's Gabriel Bortoleto was unable compete in the session.
The Brazilian had to sit out FP2 after the Swiss-based squad detected a leak in the fuel system of his car.
Lewis Hamilton has been summoned before the stewards after allegedly impeding Williams driver Alex Albon through Turn 18 early in the session. He will appear before them 15 minutes after the end of the day's on-track running.
With just under nine minutes of the session remaining, Yuki Tsunoda crashed into the wall on outside exit of Turn 27, bringing out the red flag. The Japanese driver clipped the inside wall going through the final corner. The session resumed with about a minute to run, meaning no further laps could be completed.
