Oscar Piastri topped the sole practice session for the Belgian Grand Prix, besting Lando Norris by nearly half-a-second as Max Verstappen split the pair.
The championship leader posted a 1:42.022 on the soft tyres during the only 60 minutes of practice, finding 0.101s on a second push lap late on.
Verstappen took second in Red Bull's first-ever on-track session without Christian Horner in charge as Norris was originally 1.051s slower than Piastri after his first lap, having made a mistake, briefly running through the gravel and effectively aborting the lap.
On his second attempt, he posted a 1:42.526 to go second before Verstappen bumped him to third.
Elsewhere, the two Mercedes drivers used medium tyres to record fourth and sixth, George Russell ahead of Kimi Antonelli as Ferrari were fifth and seventh, Charles Leclerc besting Lewis Hamilton by a tenth-and-a-half.
