Oscar Piastri set a blistering time in final practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix to enter qualifying as favourite for pole position.
The Australian set a scorching 1:31.646s in hot conditions in Sakhir, to end 0.668s up on team-mate Lando Norris in second.
Only Charles Leclerc in third, 0.834s down, was within a second of the McLarens as Max Verstappen was only eighth for Red Bull with Lewis Hamilton 10th.
