Max Verstappen delivered arguably the greatest drive of his F1 career in clinching victory in the São Paulo Grand Prix.
Starting from 17th on the grid at Interlagos, Verstappen did not put a wheel out of place in the atrocious conditions, whilst virtually all of those around the three-time F1 champion struggled to keep their cars on the track.
After starting on pole position, McLaren's Lando Norris could only finish sixth to lose significant ground in the drivers' standings. He is also under investigation for a start infringement procedure that could cost him further.
Remarkably, joining Verstappen on the podium, with the Dutchman ending a 10-race run without a victory, were Alpine duo Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly.
