Yuki Tsunoda is eagerly anticipating the arrival of fresh upgrades to his RB21 car amid his difficult run of form at Red Bull.
Tsunoda has failed to bag points at the last five grands prix and currently sits 17th in the drivers' championship.
The Japanese driver has struggled to get to grips with the Red Bull car, with his predecessors Liam Lawson and Sergio Perez also struggling before him.
But in a fresh boost, Tsunoda will be given up-to-date parts at the Belgian Grand Prix as he looks for a step forward in performance.
“At least I’m going to have upgrades next weekend [at the Belgian Grand Prix],” Tsunoda told media including RacingNews365.
“Currently, I’m two steps behind in terms of the package compared to Max, so that will for sure help for the next race.”
However, Tsunoda will not have the luxury of time on his side during the weekend from Spa-Francorchamps due to it being a sprint weekend.
Just one practice session will take place before the drivers jump into the competitive sessions, creating a potential headache for the 25-year-old.
“At the same time, it’s going to be a sprint weekend,” Tsunoda accepted.
“So the only time I can adjust with the floor will be [during] one free practice, but I’ll do my best.”
