Toto Wolff believes Daniel Ricciardo nicking the fastest lap from Lando Norris in the Singapore Grand Prix is "no big deal".

McLaren CEO Zak Brown has raised concerns over Red Bull owning two teams, with the Woking-based team believing that Ricciardo was pitted intentionally to take the fastest lap.

Ricciardo was running in P18 when he was called into pit for a set of soft tyres with two laps remaining.

There was nothing wrong with the Australian's RB, who set the fastest lap of the race on the final lap at the Marina Bay Circuit.

As a result, Norris failed to claim the fastest lap point, which Ricciardo also did not receive as he finished outside the top 10.

It meant Norris only reduced Max Verstappen's lead in the drivers' championship by seven points, rather than eight.

Mercedes' team principal sees no problem with what RB did and thinks Red Bull have to use everything in its locker.

"I think you've got to probably play all strategies that you have," Wolff told select media including RacingNews365.

"I don't think was a dirty play. Not at all, it [the championship] could come down to a point, it was within the regulations.

"The drivers weren't unfair with each other." Wolff later added it was "no big deal".
