Toto Wolff has questioned the Stewards' decision to investigate George Russell for allegedly forcing another driver off the track during the Japanese Grand Prix.
Russell has been summoned to the Stewards for an incident involving McLaren's Oscar Piastri.
On fresh tyres, Russell made a late overtake attempt on the Australian at the final chicane with Piastri opting to take to the run-off area after very slight contact was made.
Russell would later move ahead of Piastri for seventh place after the 22-year-old made a mistake in the final laps of the race.

The Stewards opted to call both drivers to a hearing to assess the situation and decide if there was unsporting driving involved.
However, Mercedes team principal Wolff does not agree with the decision.
"It's completely ridiculous to investigate this,” Wolff told Sky Sports Deutschland.
“I usually don't agree 100 per cent or not, but at the end of the day there was no contact and no gain in terms of position. So it's crazy.”
In their verdict, described as "challenging" the stewards ultimately elected to take no further action against Russell.
