IndyCar has unveiled a different-looking 2024 schedule with a new exhibition race as the fan favourite Milwaukee Mile returns.
The headline-grabbing race on the calendar comes in the second event which is a non-championship points race at The Thermal Club with a prize on offer of $1 million to the winning driver.
It is set for Sunday, March 24th after the opener on the streets of St Petersburg two weeks earlier.
The famed Long Beach event in California is on Sunday April 21st, with five street courses, six road courses and six ovals set, although with the exception of the 500 and Gateway, the events at Iowa and Milwaukee are double-headers.
Laguna Seca moves to Sunday June 23rd from its finale slot, with a revamped Nashville taking that honour with the Sunday September 15th event.

When is the 2024 Indianapolis 500?
The headline event of any IndyCar season takes place on Sunday, May 26 as Josef Newgarden will look to defend his 2023 success.
The 2.5-mile oval has played host to the Indy 500 at the end of May every year apart from 1917-1918 and 1942-1945 due to the Second World War with the race cancelled.
In 2020, and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the race was moved for the first time ever to August.
