Graham Rahal will lead the IndyCar field to green in today's 2023 Gallagher Grand Prix, as IndyCar heads to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course for the second time this season as part of a double-header with NASCAR.
The Rahal Letterman Lanigan driver edged teammate Christian Lundgaard by 0.11s to emerge as the fastest qualifier with a time of 1:10.1132.
Behind the Rahal Letterman Lanigan pair, the two Arrow McLarens will start third and fourth, with Alexander Rossi ahead of Pato O'Ward.
Championship leader Alex Palou, who won at the Indy road course earlier in the year, was only ninth, but the Spaniard will still start well ahead of his nearest title rival Josef Newgarden, who is way down in 19th place.
