F1 has finalised its sprint races for the 2026 campaign, which will see the revised schedule be introduced in Shanghai, Miami, Montreal, Silverstone, Zandvoort and Singapore.
It marks the fourth consecutive year that six grand prix weekends have featured the sprint format.
However, RacingNews365 understands that the sport is seeking to increase the number of sprint races going forward.
This could see the alternate weekend schedule present at half of the grands prix in the season.
The sprint races have divided opinion with some drivers voicing support for the idea, while others - most vocally Max Verstappen - have voiced dislike for the format.
But should F1 increase the sprint schedule, how many weekends per season would you like to see?
Or, alternatively, should F1 get rid of sprint races altogether? Have your say below!
