Lewis Hamilton is poised to make his 400th Formula 1 start this weekend at Interlagos, arriving at the São Paulo Grand Prix on the back of 399 race starts, 106 wins and seven world championships.
The milestone places the Ferrari driver among a tiny group of drivers to reach the mark, with Fernando Alonso the first to pass 400 grand prix weekends back in 2024. Hamilton has long sat as the nearest active driver to that landmark.
Across two decades, Hamilton has built a body of victories that spans conditions, teams and eras, from a rain-soaked Silverstone masterclass as a youngster to a tyre-management triumph that sealed a record-equalling seventh title. Choosing a single standout is no simple task.
The 2008 British Grand Prix saw Hamilton dominate in torrential rain and standing water that sent much of the field spinning off. In São Paulo in 2021, he recovered from a qualifying disqualification and further grid penalties to win from 10th on the grid, overhauling Max Verstappen along the way.
The 2020 Turkish Grand Prix brought one of his most technically accomplished drives, nursing a single set of intermediates for 50 laps on a drying track to clinch title number seven.
Germany in 2018 combined a 14th-place qualifying disaster with a late safety car and a bold pit-lane recovery to snatch victory from Sebastian Vettel's misfortune.
And the 2024 British Grand Prix ended a 945-day winless run, with Hamilton in tears on his slow-down lap and a ninth Silverstone triumph that stands as the most wins by any driver at a single circuit.
With a potential milestone 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix also in the mix, RacingNews365 wants to know which of these drives you rate as Hamilton's finest.
