Sir Lewis Hamilton looked to have the run on Sergio Perez going into the first corner after the final restart at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, but the champion's ecstasy quickly turned to agony as he immediately lost the lead and slid off into the run off area.
It has since emerged that the swift end to Hamilton's chances of winning the race and overhauling Max Verstappen in the Drivers' Championship were caused by an accidental lock up of the front brakes, but the incident nonetheless was a shock to all watching, not least Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff.
Up in the commentary box, former Red Bull driver Mark Webber was also watching, and the Australian's reaction neatly sums up what everyone was feeling watching the race in Baku.
