The 2021 F1 Belgian Grand Prix will take place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps – a track that is among the most loved by drivers thanks to its mix of fast corners and long straights.
Originally built in 1921 using roads between the towns of Francorchamps, Malmedy and Stavelot, the track was 14.9km long. Redeveloped in 1979, Spa-Francorchamps remains the longest track on the F1 calendar coming in at 7.004km.
Considered one of Europe's classic tracks, weather often plays a factor in who comes out on top as it can be raining on one part of the circuit while being dry on another.
