Video: Massive crashes at 12 Hours of Sebring 2021

Two huge accidents at the IMSA 12 Hours of Sebring brought proceedings to a halt temporarily with a shunt involving a Lamborghini and Mercedes AMG and a flip for Timothe Buret in the Oreca LMP2.

The IMSA 12 Hours of Sebring took place at the Florida track on Saturday, and the race was filled with drama after several major incidents which brought the race to a halt after a collision in the GT3 class and a cold-tyre induced flip for an Oreca LMP2.

The first crash was a collision involving Lamborghini of Franck Perera in the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 who careered into the Mercedes AMG GT3 of Billy Johnson at Turn 2 sending both cars into the barrier and bringing out the yellows.

Then later in the race, Timothe Buret in the Oreca LMP2 who was running in second place overall had a big shunt coming out of the exit of Turn 1 which caused the car to do a full 360 flip.

Thankfully, all drivers involved were ok.
